These foamed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheets are lightweight, strong and water resistant. They have excellent insulating properties, low flammability and are free of lead, cadmium and zinc.
The material machines beautifully on a CNC mill like the X-Carve and is often used for signage, store displays and exhibits. The smooth, matte surface makes it ideal for screen printing and graphics.
Expanded PVC can be heat bent, but if too much heat is applied it will permanently lose its structure. It’s best to test heat bends on a scrap piece. Please note that this material cannot be laser cut.
