This precision balanced collet nut is great for high-speed applications (>10,000 RPM), where it contributes to lower noise, and more accurate cuts. It is compatible with the DeWalt 611 (and 26200) and our precision collets. We recommend one nut for each collet if you change collets often.
It requires an ER-16M collet wrench.
When installing, make sure the collet snaps into the collet nut before securing it to the spindle. If not done properly, this can cause the collet to get stuck in the router as the extractor ring can’t function. More information regarding installation can be found in the Instructions file under the Files & Attachments section.
Note: this nut is not compatible with the standard DeWalt collet.
